Chestnut is a popular festival in Catalonia. This festival starts on
31st October to 1st November. In Occitania, Chesnut is also
celebrated, because it is the beginning of autumn. Muscatel, a sort
of sweet wine, is the typical drink of chestnut. Chestnuts are sold
in news cones. Chestnut is a Christian tradition. Chestnut is
represented by an old woman, dressed in warm clothes and a scarf on
the head and she is sitting on front of the chestnut roaster.
