John Cristopher Depp II better known as Johnny Depp was born on June 9, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky. His best films have been “ Piratas del Caribe” (saga) with a total of 3.727 million dollars, followed by Alice in Wonderland with global revenues of 1,024 million, after Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Tourist 474 million to $ 278 million worldwide.

He has a brother, Daniel (who is a writer), and two sisters, Christie, who works as his staff manager, and Debbie.

Depp has French ancestries, German, Cherokee and Irish, so Depp himself describes himself in interviews as a mongrel dog

Before acting, he worked as a seller charging $ 25 a week. Then he met Nicolas Cage and this encouraged him to try his luck in the world of acting. His first role was in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), directed by Wes Craven. However, fame came to interpret the cop Tommy Hanson in 21 Jump Street (1987-1991).
